I wanted something portable, with no installation involved. A gift, perhaps, easily sent in the mail, long distances, to family to mark special occasions.
I also needed a change from the larger works and wanted to shift the pace
and mediums. These little mixed media paintings -  5 x 7 in - mounted on 6 x 8 archival cardstock - are ready to travel to the recipient all in their own basswood and maple box, custom milled by David. So far, I have completed two boxes of approximately 60 little paintings each.
